The Answematic VBT 4000 (Valve Body Tester) is just one piece of modern technology to help us guarantee that you are getting the finest remanufactured transmissions in the industry.

The VBT 4000 allows the technician to pre-run the valve body of the transmission. The unit simulates actual road conditions by delivering up to 300 psi of regulated heated transmission fluid. Trouble shooting thermal problems of "it only does it when it is hot".

All of this is done to fully exercise, purge and test the valve body before the transmission is fully Dyno tested by Roadmaster Transmission Service, Inc. We are able to find virtually any valve body related problem with the VBT 4000 tester!

Hot Flush units are designed to simulate load conditions by heating the transmission cooler up to operating temperatures and higher while flushing occurs.

The Sol-X solenoid tester and flusher allows us to hydraulically check all solenoids by setting input and output pressure for each solenoid that is flushed and tested.

All oil flows of the solenoids and oil temperatures are digitally measured in the flushing and testing process to insure solenoids meet OEM specifications. This also aids in the diagnosis of failures that could be related to solenoids.

There is no solenoid un-tested at Roadmaster Transmission Service, Inc. There are some transmissions that require new upgraded solenoids as part of our upgrade package when that transmission is remanufactured.

At Roadmaster Transmission Service, Inc., the final step in our remanufactured transmission process is Dyno testing your transmission on one of the most advanced testing machines in the market today, the Axi-Line Dyno.

The Axi-Line Dyno allows us to run the transmission at fully operating temperature through all its shift cycles. The Dyno is powered by a 40 AMP Electric Motor supplying more than enough power to run your transmission through all the tests that are listed below.

The transmission is checked for proper code line, cooler pressure and all available pressures are recorded for the history file of your transmission. Like other transmission testers that are on the market today, our Dyno simulates actual load conditions on the transmission, as if it were in the vehicle. We know our remanufactured transmission will arm just like it was in the vehicle.

The transmission is checked for noise in the gear train as well as leaks at this time.
